Pay Details

$129,500 - $154,000 CAD The pay details posted reflect a temporary market premium specific to this role that is reassessed annually. The Software Engineer III (Salesforce Loyalty Management Technical Lead) leads the creation of comprehensive end-to-end detailed solutions for projects and platforms with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of a specific technical solution based on requirements from stakeholders.

Develops and maintains technical solutions, ensuring adherence to engineering and architectural design principles while meeting business requirements. Provides technical expertise with a focus on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security; includes planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, operationalizing, and supporting solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards.

Ultimately, providing expert advice and lead in system / application administration, installation, configuration / provisioning, platform planning and design, integration,



and release / deployment management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of Salesforce Loyalty Management capabilities, including member management, loyalty programs, rewards, promotions, partner management, and transaction processing.

Design and implement scalable solutions leveraging Salesforce Loyalty Management, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and related Salesforce platform technologies.

Provide technical leadership for integrations with enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, ETL tools, and event-driven architectures.

Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend optimal technical approaches.

Develop and maintain technical architecture artifacts, solution designs, integration specifications, deployment strategies, and operational support documentation.

Lead development teams through design, build, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security, governance, and engineering standards.

Drive platform performance, scalability, reliability, resiliency, and operational excellence.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and integration challenges across Salesforce and connected platforms.

Mentor engineers and provide subject matter expertise for Salesforce Loyalty Management best practices and solution patterns.





Support release management, setting strategy, DevOps automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Depth & Scope:

Expert knowledge of the business, the broader organization, technical environment, processes, procedures, tools and other relevant technology areas (e.g. Architecture, Infrastructure, Security etc.) from a design / support / solutions perspective

Primary subject matter expert in multiple areas and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of research, analysis, design, hardware / software support

Expert knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issues

Works independently and/or autonomously as a senior/ lead on a diverse range of tasks / operational support of solutions

Education & Experience:

Undergraduate degree, Post Graduate degree or Technical Certificate

Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)

Graduate degree nice to have

5-7 years relevant experience

Customer Accountabilities

Executes on Engineering strategy as it relates to the introduction of tools and the automation of build, test, release and configures activities across Application, Platform and Infrastructure

Leads the creation of solution options and ultimately a comprehensive end-to-end solution and coordinate relevant stakeholders, as required to support development initiatives; following a "build it, break it, fix it mentality".

Is responsible for developing and documenting detailed solution design and act as an application SME through the design and development lifecycle ensuring alignment with Architecture
