Duties

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately while ensuring patient safety
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans
- Assist with patient examinations by documenting medical histories and current dental conditions
- Support the dental team with procedures such as applying fluoride treatments or sealants
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental instruments are properly sanitized
- Manage patient records efficiently using Cleardent
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive patient experience, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism




- Support pediatric patients and their families, creating a friendly environment that encourages ongoing care

Requirements

- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Proven experience working in a dental office setting
- Proficiency in Cleardent or similar dental management software is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience with dental assisting tasks is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment

Pay: $58.00-$64.50 per hour
