Physiomed Vaughan is looking for a motivated and patient-focused Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RMT who enjoys working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and wants to build and maintain a strong caseload within an established clinic.
About the Role
As an RMT at Physiomed Vaughan, you will provide individualized massage therapy treatments to help patients manage pain, recover from injuries, improve mobility and function, and support their overall health and wellness.
You will work within a collaborative clinical environment alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors and other healthcare professionals, allowing for coordinated patient care and cross-referral opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized massage therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic massage treatments based on patient needs and goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate patients on home care, stretching, mobility and injury prevention where appropriate
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required
- Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain professional standards and comply with all applicable regulatory requirements
- Build robust,
long-term relationships with patients through excellent care and communication
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient-focused and committed to providing high-quality care
- Professional, reliable and organized
- Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
