At J & V Physiotherapy, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. We are a welcoming and friendly team, helping our clients recover. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, helping them relieve stress and pain. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being of our clients

Responsibilities

- Perform individualized massage therapy treatments for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Assess client conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients.
- Appropriate documentation notes as to college standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and any specific areas of concern during sessions.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures.

Experience





- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Valid professional liability insurance.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to facilitate communication regarding client health conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear understanding between therapist and client.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for holistic health and wellness with a commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.

Job Types: Part time, Casual

Pay: $36.67-$95.90 per hour
