About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor to join their fully remote team, supporting clients across various regions. This role focuses on assisting individuals with physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges to overcome barriers and achieve their personal, vocational, and independent living goals. You will utilize a holistic approach, providing counselling, vocational guidance, and resource coordination to empower clients on their journey to recovery and self-sufficiency. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, abilities, and goals.
- Develop personalized rehabilitation and recovery plans tailored to individual circumstances.
- Provide individual and group counselling to address psychological and emotional barriers.
- Offer vocational guidance, job placement assistance, and career counselling services.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, social services,



and community resources to ensure comprehensive support.
- Monitor client progress, document interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Professional certification or licensure as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in rehabilitation counselling or case management.
- Strong knowledge of disability types, adaptive technologies, and community resources.
- Excellent counselling, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms for client interaction and case management.
