About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Remote Installation and Support Specialist to join their virtual team, based in Kimberley. This hybrid role focuses on guiding customers through the successful installation and setup of our client's products, as well as providing ongoing remote technical support. You will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth customer journey from initial setup to ongoing utilization, troubleshooting issues efficiently and effectively. This position offers a unique blend of technical expertise and customer service, with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

- Guide customers remotely through the installation and configuration of software and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by clients via remote support channels.
- Provide transparent, concise, and timely technical assistance to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Document all support interactions, resolutions, and installation procedures in the CRM system.




- Collaborate with internal teams to elevate complex issues and contribute to knowledge base development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services to provide effective support.

Requirements

- Previous experience in technical support, customer service, or IT installation.
- Strong understanding of software installation processes and basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid remote/on-site model.
- Proficiency with remote access tools and ticketing systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are advantageous.
