About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and creative Remote Sports Event Planner to conceptualize, organize, and execute a variety of sports events for a global audience. Working entirely from home, you will manage all logistical aspects, from venue selection (if applicable) and vendor coordination to budget management and on-site execution (if required for specific events). This role demands exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a virtual environment, ensuring successful and memorable events.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute sports events, including tournaments, festivals, and corporate sports days, from conception to completion.

Source and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, venues, and contractors.

Develop detailed event budgets and manage them effectively to ensure profitability and adherence to financial targets.

Create event timelines and manage all logistical aspects, ensuring smooth operations.

Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies for events.





Oversee on-site event execution (when necessary) and manage event staff and volunteers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in event planning, with a specialization in sports events.

Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple event projects concurrently.

Robust negotiation and vendor management skills.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in event management software and virtual collaboration tools.
