Shift: day-evening-night

Start date: August 30-31 and September 1-20-21, 2025

Hourly rate: 65$/h

As a respiratory therapist in remote areas, your responsibilities will be:

- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments of patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders
- Administer inhaled treatments and prescribed medications
- Monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatments accordingly
- Participate in educating patients and their families about respiratory care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

- Diploma in respiratory therapy




- Prior experience in respiratory therapy (minimum 2 years) in a hospital setting
- Neonatal and adult ventilation training
- RCR and NRP up to date
- Expertise in the operating room: must be comfortable in the operating room, assist the anesthesiologist, comfortable in contact with massive transfusion protocols, fluid resuscitation, and performing TIVA.
- Be a member of the Quebec Order of Respiratory Therapists
- Positive ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work in remote areas
- Knowledge of the French language (advanced level).
