Our financial services client is seeking a Risk Analyst III (5-7 years of experience) to manage counterparty credit risk using credit exposure analysis and reporting processes
Join a leading financial institution supporting market risk and counterparty analytics across global trading activities. This role focuses on analysis, reporting, monitoring, and investigation of counterparty credit risk exposures, including infrastructure changes related to revised credit facilities and policies. The position partners closely with credit risk management, market risk control, front office, audit, and technology stakeholders within a complex capital markets environment.
The opportunity offers exposure to global trading activities and quantitative risk analysis within an established banking workplace.
Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, 4 days in office

Must Haves
- 5-7 years in Counterparty Credit Risk within Capital Markets or financial services environments
- Strong knowledge of financial products including derivatives and bonds
- Experience with impact assessments, drafting requirements, and performing testing for projects
- Investigation and analysis of credit excesses, exposures, and production issues
Nice to Have
- Experience in Risk Management roles
- Working knowledge of SQL, VBA, Python, or Artificial Intelligence
- Experience working with vendor systems
Responsibilities
- Manage counterparty credit risk by investigating and escalating credit excesses at the facility level
- Generate exposure reports in accordance with reporting guidelines
- Monitor and analyze risk exposures against established counterparty limits
- Execute infrastructure changes related to new or revised policies and processes
- Record and document late or missing reports and related process metricsPerform ad-hoc analysis of metrics, exposures, and transactions for management and stakeholders
- Liaise with front office, credit risk management, audit, technology groups, and internal stakeholders
