As a Safety Coordinator, you will be the site point of contact for maintaining safety protocols across multiple construction sites. You will maintain safety training initiatives, conduct inspections, and collaborate with teams to promote health and safety excellence at every level. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on workplace safety while supporting operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

- monitor safety policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training sessions to educate employees on best practices, emergency procedures, and compliance standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending preventative measures.
- Collaborate with management to establish safety goals and track progress through detailed reporting and analysis.
- Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging employees in safety initiatives and encouraging open communication about hazards.




- Stay current with evolving safety regulations and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in infrastructure construction environments with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effective training programs focused on safety and employee development.
- Knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, Ontario Legislation, The Green Book, and relevant local regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams, conduct inspections, and report findings clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Certification in Safety or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- A proactive attitude with a keen interest in fostering a safe working environment that values employee well-being.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
