Senior Data Engineer (10+ years) to build and maintain AWS data pipelines and data models using Glue, Airflow, and Redshift Join a data modernization initiative focused on scalable cloud-based data infrastructure within a financial services environment. This role is responsible for designing, building, and deploying data processing pipelines and platform capabilities using AWS technologies including Glue, Lambda, Athena, and Redshift.

The position works closely with Data Analysts, QA, and development teams to deliver reliable data products and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role also contributes to data architecture evolution, cloud migration efforts, and large-scale transformation projects. Permanent, Toronto, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves 5-7+ years in

Data Engineering and

AWS cloud data infrastructure 4+ years hands-on with

AWS Glue ,

Airflow , Lambda, S3, DMS, and EC2 Redshift and relational/non-relational database design including logical and physical data models SQL , Python, R, or Spark for data processing and analytics Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or related field

Nice to Have Kafka or AWS Kinesis for streaming data Databricks, DBT, Git, or Jenkins Microsoft SQL data migration to AWS cloud Knowledge of static and real-time database systems Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
