About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Distribution to join their team in Kimberley . This role is critical for the planning, design, and implementation of reliable and efficient electrical distribution networks. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and integrity of power supply, working on challenging projects that serve a wide range of clients and applications. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and engineering of medium and low voltage power distribution systems .
- Perform detailed electrical system analysis, including load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies.
- Specify and select electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, cables, and protective devices.
- Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications for distribution networks.




- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical distribution infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international electrical standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical power distribution engineering.
- Deep understanding of power system protection principles and relay settings.
- Proficiency with power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, CYME, PSCAD).
- Experience in project management and leading engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
