Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Quality Engineer (QE) to join an Agile delivery team supporting the development and enhancement of customer-facing digital applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end quality engineering across the technology stack, including mobile UI, APIs, data flows, and database validation. This role requires robust hands-on automation experience and the ability to leverage AI-enabled development and testing tools to accelerate test creation, execution, troubleshooting, and overall quality assurance.

Location: Downtown Toronto

Contract Duration: 12 months

Start Date: October 2026

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for mobile applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Perform end-to-end testing across mobile UI, APIs, data flows, and databases.
- Develop and execute API automation tests to validate functionality, integrations, and data exchanges.
- Write and execute database queries to perform data validation and reconciliation.
- Validate data flows across frontend, API, backend, and database layers.
- Leverage AI tools extensively throughout the testing lifecycle, including test-case creation, automation development, execution, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Identify, document, investigate, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, designers, and other QE resources within Agile squads.
- Participate in sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks, testing practices, and overall product quality.

Must Haves

- Strong hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
- Demonstrated experience testing across the full application stack,



including mobile UI, APIs, data flows, and databases.
- Strong experience developing and executing API automation tests.
- Proficiency writing SQL/database queries for testing and data validation.
- Experience validating complex data flows and integrations between application layers.
- Advanced comfort using AI-enabled tools for software testing, test creation, automation, execution, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams and collaborating directly with client development teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned testing activities.
