Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Info Security Analyst (7-10 years) to lead Modern Authentication initiatives using IAM, Adaptive MFA, and Risk Based Authentication

Join a large-scale cybersecurity initiative focused on advancing multi-factor authentication and Risk Based Authentication capabilities within an enterprise Identity and Access Management environment. This role supports high-profile security projects by assessing security risks, advising stakeholders, and driving implementation of authentication controls and access policies. The position works closely with business and technology teams across a broader security organization supporting enterprise authentication services.

The opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement within a growing Cyber Security division.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Tuesdays and one Friday every month

12 months

Must Have Requirement:

- Candidate must have IAM experience. - at least 7-10 years of experience as an Information Security Consultant or a similar role.
- Certification in CISSP or CCSP
- Experience in Adaptive MFA and Passwordless solutions an asset. Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, OpenID, FIDO, SSO and web protocols XML, SOAP, JSON, REST. Working experience on cloud environment like Azure.
- Should have hands-on working knowledge of ITIL Service Lifecycle.
- Knowledge of leading market tools (Microsoft, CyberArk, ForgeRock) and their MFA solutions.
- Liaise with the business teams on implementation and adoption of CIBC controls, Adaptive MFA capabilities

Nice to Have:

- You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science,



Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

- Assess high-profile projects for security risks and identify potential exposures
- Present practical and achievable security recommendations to stakeholders and senior management
- Lead and deliver Modern Authentication initiatives
- Liaise with business teams on implementation and adoption of authentication controls and access policies
- Improve multi-factor authentication processes, controls, and communications across stakeholder groups
- Contribute to the zero trust roadmap and policy development for Risk Based Authentication
- Review, test, and implement security products and control techniques
