Join a large-scale physical security and network infrastructure initiative supporting 30 parking garage facilities across Toronto. This role leads end-to-end delivery of network connectivity projects supporting video surveillance, electronic access control, and emergency intercom systems integrated with the security control centre.

The Project Management

Specialist will coordinate network teams, vendors, site reviews, and deployment activities across multi-site infrastructure implementations. The engagement includes high visibility with executive, operational, and technical stakeholders within a complex municipal setting.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

10+ years managing enterprise-wide IT projects in complex multi-departmental environments including budget, scope, risk, and resource management

Large-scale

WAN/LAN and

MPLS network implementation projects across multiple locations

Coordination of network implementations with vendors, network engineers, architecture teams, and field technicians

Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

Knowledge of physical security systems including video surveillance, electronic access control, and emergency intercoms

Knowledge of Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, Fortinet, IPsec, SSL VPNs, and Zero-trust segmentation strategies

Knowledge of architecture and topology design, advanced routing/switching, and high-availability planning





Proficiency with Microsoft Project

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all stages of the project lifecycle

Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans

Coordinate site access, engineering reviews, and deployment activities across garage facilities

Manage network installation progress, risks, issues, and change requests across all sites

Chair project committee and steering committee meetings on project progress and decision-making

Prepare and oversee contractual documents including REOI, RFI/P/Q/R, SOW, MOU, and SLA documentation

Review and report on consultant and contractor progress, expenditures, and performance against project scope and timelines
