Our client has an immediate requirement for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a Project Risk initiative focused on scorecard enhancements within a custom application.

This is a hands-on role within an Agile delivery team, working closely with developers and managing requirements directly in Azure DevOps.

Short-Term contract to end of December with possible extension.

Must Have

- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
- 3+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environments
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including user stories, backlog management and sprint planning
- 3+ years of experience working directly with developers on custom applications, including backlog prioritization and sprint planning
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into transparent, build-ready user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience supporting UAT and validating delivered functionality

Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting risk, scorecard or analytics-related initiatives
- Experience working with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into application enhancements

Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements, with a focus on enhancements to existing application functionality
- Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps, which serves as the system of record
- Manage and prioritize the backlog for 2-week sprints in collaboration with developers and delivery leads
- Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and support solution design, build and delivery
- Support UAT and validate that delivered enhancements meet business requirements
- Work with stakeholders and development teams to identify gaps,



clarify requirements and resolve issues throughout delivery
