About the Role

Our client is searching for a skilled and innovative Senior VFX Artist to join their talented team in Kimberley . You will be responsible for creating stunning visual effects that elevate the visual quality and immersion of our projects within the Arts & Entertainment sector. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of visual effects principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments. You will play a key role in pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling and ensuring a seamless integration of effects into the final product.

Key Responsibilities

- Create high-quality visual effects, including explosions, fire, smoke, magic, and other dynamic elements.
- Work closely with art directors and technical directors to establish and maintain the visual style of effects.
- Optimize VFX assets for real-time performance and memory constraints.
- Develop and implement particle systems, shaders, and post-processing effects.
- Collaborate with animators and technical artists to ensure seamless integration of VFX.




- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in visual effects.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a VFX Artist in the Arts & Entertainment industry, particularly in games or film.
- Proficiency in VFX software such as Houdini, Maya, After Effects, or similar.
- Strong understanding of particle systems, simulation techniques, and shader creation.
- Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity is highly desirable.
- Excellent artistic eye and attention to detail.
- A compelling portfolio demonstrating advanced VFX capabilities.
