Number of Positions (est.): 1 Qualifications: Graduate degree in English, Cinema Studies, or related field. Teaching assistant experience at the University of Toronto is an asset.

Duties: Conducting tutorials, grading assignments and exams, invigilating tests and exams, additional responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the instructor.

Sessional dates of appointment: September 28 - December 31, 2026.

Note: all positions involve completion of any course grading not finished by December 31 , 2026 for Fall courses. In accordance with the current CUPE 3902 collective agreement, the rate of pay applicable for Sessional Instructional Assistants is $55.25 per hour plus 4% vacation pay. Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.
