Small Engine/Marine Technician

Location: Manitoulin Island (serving Manitoulin and Killarney)

Position Type: Full time

Wage: Competitive hourly rate

Role & Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair all makes/ages of outboards, UTV’s and ATV’s
- Service lawn and garden equipment, chainsaws, generators and more
- Maintain and repair all makes of home standby generators
- Regional travel and occasional overnights across Manitoulin and Killarney

Requirements:

- Proven experience with marine outboards and power sports equipment
- Strong diagnostic, electrical and fuel system skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Flexibility for regional travel

Bonus Assets (Not Mandatory)

- Office experience (invoicing, parts, customer service)
- Experience with home standby generators (e.g. Generac)

Winter Hours Note:

First Season: Cannot guarantee full time through winter, but anticipate winter snowmobile service and off season marine work to provide opportunity for year-round stability
