Canadian Tire Corporation is looking for a Senior BI and Insight Analyst to join their team in Toronto, Ontario. This is a full-time role where you'll sit at the intersection of data engineering and business strategy, turning complex datasets into clear, actionable intelligence that drives decisions across the organization.
You'll work across the full analytics lifecycle — from gathering requirements with business stakeholders right through to delivering polished dashboards and reporting solutions. The work spans marketing, loyalty, merchandising, and promotional analytics, making it a genuinely varied and high-impact position.
About the Role: Sr. BI and Insight Analyst
At the core of this role is the ability to translate business questions into scalable data and visualization solutions. You'll partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to understand what they need, then design and build the pipelines, models, and dashboards that deliver those insights. Tools like Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Power BI are central to how this team works.
Equally important is your ability to communicate findings clearly. Data accuracy, governance standards, and consistent reporting practices are a priority — and so is the ability to present complex analytical results in a way that resonates with non-technical audiences and leadership teams alike.
Benefits and Salary
Canadian Tire offers a broadband salary range of $64,000 to $106,000, with a typical hiring range between $64,000 and $90,000 depending on experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Beyond base pay, the company provides comprehensive benefits and retirement programs, performance incentives, continuing education programs, career growth opportunities, product discounts, and mental health advantages of $5,000 per year for eligible employees and their families. Additional perks support overall well-being, and employees also have access to the Canadian Tire Profit Sharing program.
