We are a French family relocating to Vancouver for one year. We are both physicians and will be working in a lab near Vancouver General Hospital.

We are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced live-out nanny to care for our baby, who will be 4 months old in January 2027.

Location: Vancouver, Olympic Village
Live-out position
Child: One baby, 4 months old at the start
Start: 4 January 2027

End: 29 October 2027

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (1 day off?)

xx hours/week need to be discuss with our work

About the position: The position will be exclusively focused on caring for our baby.

Responsibilities will include: Feeding and preparing bottles

Diaper changes and baby hygiene
Putting the baby down for naps and following their daily routine
Taking the baby outside for walks when appropriate
Playing and interacting with the baby in an age-appropriate way

Keeping the baby's immediate environment tidy

We are looking for someone who:



Has significant experience caring for young infants, ideally babies under 1 year old

Is caring, gentle, reliable and attentive
Is comfortable with feeding, diaper changes, naps and establishing a daily routine
Has CPR/First Aid certification (or is willing to obtain it)
Can provide references from previous families
Is a non-smoker
Is comfortable working in a professional household
French is a robust plus, as we are a French-speaking family

Our working hours are to be discussed depending on the nanny's availability and our lab schedules.
