We've been around for over a century now, with a focus on one thing: As our Supervisor, Accounting , you'll lead and support the day-to-day operations of the Accounting department while providing expertise, guidance, and strategic insight that helps drive the success of Sandbox. DIVE IN AND MAKE A SPLASH EVERY DAY, BY:

Leading the day-to-day operations of the Accounting department while supporting a cooperative, high-performing team. Providing guidance, coaching, training, and performance support to Accounting team members. Overseeing general accounting functions, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and financial statements.

Supervising month-end and year-end processes while coordinating with auditors, actuaries, and other key stakeholders. Monitoring cash flow,



maintaining banking relationships, and supporting sound financial management practices. Identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiencies, and strengthen customer service within the department.

Skills

Professional accounting designation required. Five (5) or more years of accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices, financial reporting, investments, and capital markets.

Ability to analyze complex situations, solve problems, and make informed decisions Proven ability to motivate, coach, develop, and support employees Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong understanding of accounting systems, reporting tools, and process improvement opportunities.

Knowledge of insurance operations, reinsurance, underwriting, or claims
