Role Description Trayvino Wine Ambassadors are responsible for representing Trayvino’s portfolio to clients and partners across the Ontario marketplace in a full-time, remot e role.
Day-to-day activities include promoting and selling wines, building relationships with hospitality and on-premise accounts, and providing consultative support to help clients optimize their wine lists and programs. Ambassadors deliver wine education sessions, tastings, and presentations,
ensuring clients and their teams understand the unique qualities and stories behind each wine. The role also involves monitoring market trends, gathering feedback from customers, and collaborating with internal teams to refine product offerings and sales strategies.
Ambassadors are expected to maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and training sessions while representing Trayvino with professionalism and strong product knowledge.
Qualifications
- Strong Wine Sales skills, including experience developing accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Wine Education experience, with the ability to conduct tastings, training sessions, and presentations
- Familiarity with Wineries and the broader wine industry, including market trends and distribution channels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated and organized, capable of working independently in a remote setting and managing multiple accounts.
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant management, or the on-premise wine market is an asset.
- Relevant wine certifications (e.g., WSET, Sommeliers, or equivalent) are advantageous.
