In your role as a Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of the Christmas Kettle Campaign while fostering a positive environment for volunteers. This temporary position requires excellent multitasking abilities and a commitment to providing necessary support to kettle sites and volunteers. Your work will directly contribute to the mission of serving the community and spreading hope during the holiday season.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate Kettle Campaign worker activities • Manage volunteer schedules and orientation • Provide guidance on using volunteer management software • Maintain relationships with kettle locations • Assist with phone inquiries and service bookings
Requirements: • Completion of High School or equivalent education • A year of experience in community program roles • Hold a valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver's License • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs • Strong background in office support tasks
