Company description La Ferme Black River is a wholesale distributor of premium meats and cheeses servicing the Ontario food service and retail industry. We are a small, family owned business and we are extremely passionate about sourcing and supplying local, high quality products to our customer base. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service and are constantly seeking to improve our operations to this end

The position will include a variety of duties including:

· Manage and handle receiving, loading and unloading of products

· Pack orders, stock and organize inventory in the warehouse

· Operate forklifts and pallet jacks

· Be capable of driving vans and trucks to assist with product delivery as needed

· Responsible for physical condition of warehouse including garbage disposal, cleaning and meeting SCFR regulations for health and safety

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related activities as needed

This position is a permanent part-time position and you can expect to work approximate 20 - 25 hours per week spread over Tuesday to Friday.



Starting hours each day are between 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, is extremely punctual and has a solid work ethic. This is a physically demanding job and you must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 30 kg

Salary: From $21.00 per hour
