Job Title: Workday HCM Consultant

Location: Remote(EST)

Position type: Part time(20 hours per week).

Experience Required: 6–8 years in HR Technology / HCM (with 3–5 years of hands-on Workday experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Workday HCM Consultant to join our global HR technology team. In this offshore role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, and optimization of our Workday HCM platform. The ideal candidate will have robust Workday Reporting capabilities and a solid background in core HCM processes. Experience with Business Processes (BP), Recruiting, or Benefits configuration is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Configuration & Support

· Maintain, configure, and optimize Core HCM functionality and system settings.

· Manage end-to-end Business Process (BP) configurations, including condition rules and approvals.

· Provide Tier 2/3 troubleshooting support for system errors, business processes, and data discrepancies.

Reporting & Analytics

· Design, build, and deploy advanced Workday reports, including Matrix and Composite reports.

· Create custom Calculated Fields to support complex reporting requirements.





· Maintain data integrity by conducting regular system audits and data validation checks.

Module Optimization (Plus Skills)

· Support configuration and enhancement cycles for Workday Recruiting and/or Workday Benefits.

· Assist with bi-annual Workday release testing, identifying impacts on existing configurations and downstream reports.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience

· 6–8 years of overall HR technology/HCM experience preferred.

· 3–5 years of hands-on, practical working knowledge of Workday.

Technical Skills

· Deep understanding of Workday Data Structure, Security Groups, and Business Process Framework.

· Advanced proficiency in Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields.

· Proven track record of configuring at least one additional module (Recruiting or Benefits) is a major plus.

· Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with onshore teams.

· Ability to work independently in an offshore environment with minimal supervision.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
