Summary of Duties
Review and reporting of clinical next generation sequencing (NGS) assays and other molecular diagnostic tests as needed. Works with the Molecular Diagnostic technical team and reports to the Medical Lead of Molecular Diagnostics.Qualifications / Skills
Molecular Scientist (PhD) with CCMG designationExperience with review and clinical reporting of Oncomine NGS DNA and RNA assaysAbility to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levelsKnowledge of continuous quality improvement and total quality management techniquesDemonstrated initiative, effective problem solving, conflict resolution skills, critical thinking and decision making practicesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAdvanced computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
