Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assemble menu items efficiently and accurately according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling with accuracy
- Assist customers at the food counter by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food preparation and service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety of all products




- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and organizing supplies

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for order entry and cash transactions
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and measurement conversions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen or counter setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn recent skills such as upselling techniques and advanced food prep methods
