Position : Catering Bartender (Offsite Events)

Rate of Pay : $35 per hour, all inclusive (no gratuities)

Catering Bartenders are the highlight of the beverage experience for Alo Food Group's offsite events, pop-ups, and private celebrations. Bringing fine-dining cocktail expertise and polished hospitality to dynamic event venues, they combine high-volume speed with meticulous attention to craft. Catering Bartenders possess deep knowledge of spirits, wine, and signature cocktail recipes, maintaining a clean, engaging, and effective bar setting while ensuring guest safety and satisfaction at every turn.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Bar Setup & Logistics: Transport, set up, and style mobile bars, backbars, glassware, ice stations, and garnishes based on event specifications and expected guest counts.

● Beverage Service: Prepare and serve signature cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately according to Alo Food Group standards.

● Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor liquor, wine, mixer, and garnish levels throughout the event; ensure wine is served at correct temperatures and back-of-house stock is secured.

● Guest Interaction: Engage guests warmly, provide recommendations, answer menu questions,



and deliver an elevated hospitality experience under high-volume conditions.

● Safety & Compliance: Responsibly monitor guest alcohol consumption and strictly adhere to Smart Serve (or local alcohol service) standards.

● Station Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area throughout service; continuously clear empty glassware and manage bar trash/recycling.

● Teardown & Reconciliation: Break down mobile bar setups, pack rental glassware, inventory remaining spirits/wine, safely store open bottles, and return event venues to clean condition.

Skills and Qualifications:

● Prior bartending experience, ideally in fine dining, high-volume venues, or offsite catering.

● Strong working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirit categories, wine varietals, and service etiquette.

● Ability to lift, transport, and maneuver heavy ice bus tubs, beverage crates, and mobile bar equipment up to 50 lbs.

● Ability to stand and work continuously in rapid-paced indoor or outdoor event environments.

● Exceptional speed, organizational skills, and composure under pressure.

● Valid Smart Serve certification (or local equivalent alcohol service certification) required.
