Our mission of good parts on time, along with strong customer relationships and company performance, will continue our history of growth.Job Summary:As a Welder-Fitter, the incumbent is responsible to Weld and Finish specific components from detailed schematics or blueprints and materials to meet customer requirements and specifications.Wage range: $29.55 up to $35.25 hourlyPrimary Responsibilities:Able to weld with GMAW & GTAW to required specifications. (Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Mild Steel)Communicate and work with co-workers to develop fixture concepts.Perform welding,



grinding duties as required.Work independently or as a team member.Work from complex drawings.Ensure all parts are prefabricated correctly to meet customer specificationsWork in a safe manner by following all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, CompanyPolicies and Procedures.Perform other duties as defined and assigned by department supervisor, or lead hand.Comply and perform all duties with the organizational set of standards.Initiate and continually strive for maximum production efficiency and attention to detail.Document and complete Quality reports.Maintain a clean and organized working area.Upon completion of assigned work ensure adequate clean up and inspection of all weldments and fabricated parts as required.Knowledge of welding process and set-up.WHMIS and MSDS knowledge of all substancesEducational Requirements:Grade 12 diploma, or equivalentRequired Skills & Expertise:You have at least 3-5 years previous work-related experience in the same or related industry.Highly proficient fitting skills including prepping and materials to meet Blueprint specificationsHighly proficient welding skill in Mig - Hard Wire, Flux CoreGTAW Experience – an assetSub Arc Experience – an assetRed Seal Certification – an assetCWB/AWS/TSSA tickets are an assetExperience in custom fabrication is an assetPhysical Demands:Walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, bending,
