If you are excited to build your career in tax and explore the world of technology,What you will doPrepare working paper files, tax provisions, corporate income tax returns, tax elections and information returns for corporate clients, including Global MNE'sProvide client support for CRA audits and inquiries, follow-up on Notice of Assessments and communicate with the CRA on various tax mattersPerform tax research and analysis as part of the tax provision and tax compliance process on a wide variety of tax issuesCollaborate with Managers, Senior Managers and Partners on client engagements and assist with tax planning strategiesMaintain client files to ensure accurate and timely completion of returns and schedulesInteract with clients and other KPMG team members to support engagement deliveryParticipate in product design discussions on tax processes and user testing of various tax technologiesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance tax delivery through technologyWhat you bring to the role1–2 years of experience in a public accounting firmSuccessful completion of the CFE and CPA designation obtained or in progressEnrollment in or willingness to enroll in the In-Depth Tax CourseStrong written and verbal communication skillsEffective collaboration and team engagement abilitiesAbility to manage time effectively in a dynamic environmentCapacity to handle multiple priorities with attention to detailProactive approach to developing new skills through research and learningKPMG Ontario Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $106,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
