Volunteer Experience · Work Experience · Work & CareerType of employment: Full-Time; PermanentNo of positions: 1Anticipated Start date: As soon as possibleWork Location: Various job sites throughout the Lower Mainland (BC) as per company's contractsSalary: $25.00 – $28.00 per hourOvertime pay and vacation pay in accordance with applicable employment standardsTransportation to assigned work sites, where requiredFlexible and accommodating work arrangements that promote work-life balanceRelocation assistance of up to $1,000 for qualified candidatesJob ResponsibilitiesAssist plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.Carry materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.Help locate and mark positions for pipe connections, fixtures, and openings in walls and floors.Prepare work areas by setting up equipment, protecting surfaces, and cleaning job sites.Support testing of plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation using air and water pressure equipment.Assist in diagnosing basic plumbing issues such as clogged drains or leaking fixtures.Follow instructions from plumbers and supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.Observe and comply with workplace safety procedures, job-site rules, and company policies.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.Communicate effectively with team members to support daily work activities.Perform other related plumbing helper duties, as assigned, to support timely completion of projects.Qualification & RequirementsPrevious experience in plumbing, construction, or related trade is an asset; however, training will be provided to suitable candidate with no prior experience.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.Positive communication skills to follow instructions and coordinate with team members.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and carry out assigned tasks under supervision.Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions,
