As a part time Registered Early Childhood Educator, you'll contribute to the Ferndale Woods YMCA Before & After School Program. Your responsibilities include personal care, group supervision, and carefully implementing play-driven educational activities. Nurturing a loving and inclusive atmosphere is essential, in addition to maintaining ongoing communication with families and supporting various needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor children’s well-being and provide necessary personal care
• Actively supervise and engage in all activities




• Execute YMCA Curriculum focused on play-based learning
• Maintain clear communication with families and staff
• Ensure support for children with diverse needs
Requirements:
• At least 18 years of age required
• Current First Aid and CPR certification needed
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check mandatory
• Required immunizations in compliance
• Must be a Registered Early Childhood Educator or equivalent
