You'll ensure seamless transitions, minimal downtime, and strong technical leadership every step of the way.Who You Are:A hands-on infrastructure expert with experience in server migrations, cloud deployments, and network optimizationSkilled at solving complex technical issues while keeping client needs and business impact front of mindClear and confident in your communication - with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholdersProactive, organized, and driven to deliver exceptional results in fast-moving environmentsWork Type:Mostly remote - will be expected onsite as and when needed(~1-2 x per month)Location: Toronto, ONFull-Time Permanent, Mon-Fri - some weekend/off hours work may be requiredVacancy Type: This role reflects an existing vacancyWhat You'll Do (Your Superpowers):Act as the primary Technical contact on client accounts to initiate and lead internal projectsDeliver server migrations, including VMware ESXi, Windows Server, and SQL, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtimeImplement infrastructure upgrades such as firewalls, switches, and access point deployments to enhance network performance and securityExecute cloud infrastructure projects, specifically for Office 365, to optimize client operations and scalabilityImplement and deliver security products, including EDR, DRP, and auditing tools,
to safeguard client data and systemsMaintain and update client documentation during project delivery to ensure accuracy and accessibilityOversee project implementation and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet client expectationsManage lifecycle technical implementation and delivery, providing ongoing support and updates as neededPerform routine maintenance tasks to ensure systems remain up-to-date and functionalServe as the L3 escalation point for the helpdesk team, providing advanced support and troubleshooting for complex issuesAbility to communicate with clients at all levels from IT personnel to C-Suite ExecutivesWhat We're Looking For (Our Wishlist):3+ years of experience in the following:Experience in a client-facing IT role providing ticket/project support with strong knowledge of IT Standard/Process (ITIL/PCI/ISO); Experience in an MSP environment would be considered an assetMicrosoft Office365, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server SupportExperience with Veeam, Remote Desktop Services (RDS/Terminal Servers), MS SQL Server, FTP/SFTP/FTPSStrong experience with LAN/WANVirtualization Environments: VMware or Hyper-V (preferred)Strong knowledge of cloud computing and IT Ops AutomationExperience with TCP/IP protocol, firewalls, switches,
