We're looking for a dependable, organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team on a casual basis and help us give patients a smooth, welcoming experience.Greet and check in patients, and keep the front desk running efficientlyAnswer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient questionsSchedule, confirm, and reschedule appointmentsTake and record patient vitals, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, height, and weightUpdate patient charts, demographics, and appointment information in Accuro EMR, ensuring data accuracy.Prepare letters, forms, and correspondence in Microsoft WordKeep logs, lists, and tracking sheets up to date in Microsoft ExcelHandle referrals, faxes,



and incoming resultsMaintain patient confidentiality in line with Saskatchewan's Health Information Protection Act (HIPA) and organizational policies.Fill out relevant documentation for patient support servicesShould be familiar with MSB billingRequiredProficiency with Accuro EMRProficiency with Microsoft Excel and WordExperience taking and recording patient vitalsExperience scheduling appointments and answering phones in a medical officeStrong communication, customer service, and organizational skillsSatisfactory criminal record check upon offer of employmentPreferredMedical Office Assistant diploma or certificate, or equivalent experience
