Hiring Unit:

Prof. Shuaiqi Guo’s lab

Position Summary:

- The candidate will assist with laboratory experiments and routine testing such as mammalian and bacterial cell culturing
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist with laboratory inventory by cataloging materials and equipment.
- Entering data into inventory databases, updating protocols and datasheets, tracking and distributing laboratory shipments, and ensuring daily opening and securing of the laboratory area.

Education & Experience:

- High school diploma with little or no experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in research and/or laboratory settings.
- Priority will be given to students enrolled at McGill University.

Knowledge of English:

McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 3 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.

High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience
