There are many opportunities with Interior Health that begin with casual employment and lead to regular employment.Shifts of work will be scheduled Mon- Fri plus on-call, days and evenings; rotating from 07:00 to 15:00, 07:30 to 15:30, 08:30 to 16:30, 09:30 to 17:30, 11:15 to 18:45, 08:30 to 17:00 hours.About this location/unit:Kootenay Lake Hospital's Operating Room Department has two OR theatres functional Monday to Friday. Types of procedures include: Endoscopy, Major Obs/Gyne, Dental, Ophthalmology/Cataracts, minor Ortho, and minor General Surgery. Up to nine Operating Room RNs circulate/scrub, including a float nurse plus a RN is Daycare Surgery and PAR. The hospital has a robust Obs/Gyne program supported by 24/7 on-call operating room capacity.Nestled in the Selkirk Mountains along the shores of Kootenay Lake, Nelson is a lively, artistic community known for its rich culture and breathtaking scenery.
