As a Lab Patient Technician at LifeLabs, you will play a crucial role in patient care through specimen collection. This position involves greeting patients, ensuring compliance with test protocols, and conducting phlebotomies. You will also handle data entry and follow up on patient inquiries to provide exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and clarify collection procedures
• Carry out phlebotomy and ECG procedures
• Perform unique collections for clinical trials
• Maintain client relationships and respond to requests
• Enter patient data and prepare specimens for testing
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved Laboratory Assistant program
• Experience in phlebotomy and ECG beneficial
• Robust communication and customer service skills
• Typing speed must be a minimum of 40 wpm
• Adherence to patient privacy standards
