Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a full time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at I.D.A. Forbes Pharmacy-Millstream in Victoria, British Columbia.Patient Focused Care ResponsibilitiesSupport pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient careGreet customers and answer phone calls in a professional mannerAssist with entering, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technicianAccurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocolsReceive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory auditsKeep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulationsPerform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfersAssist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy with a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business.Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills,
