Casual employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0 to 37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.Shifts are scheduled across days and nights, rotating between 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00.About this location/unitKelowna General Hospital is part of Interior Health's expansion plan and hosts the Downtown Clinical Academic Campus for the University of BC Medical School. The Surgical 3 East unit is a 36-bed team-based unit with an overflow bed, accommodating up to 37 patients. It includes specialized services such as complex wound care, tracheotomies and plastic surgery, and offers opportunities for skill consolidation.
