This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Lead and is also accountable to the Shop Leads and Production Manager.Key Responsibilities:Shipping and Receiving (40%):Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders for quantity, accuracy, and damagePrepare and package outgoing shipments following standard operating proceduresComplete shipping documentation and packing lists using the ERP systemCoordinate with carriers to arrange pickups and deliveriesNotify the Supply Chain Lead of any discrepancies or damaged goodsInventory and Material Handling (40%):Move materials and products to designated storage locations within the facilityAssist with regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepanciesOrganize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure accuracy in the ERP systemOperate pallet jacks and assist with material handling equipment as trainedPack orders and communicate with third parties for shipping arrangements as neededSupport general supply chain tasks as requiredShop Support (20%):Stage raw materials and work-in-progress to the correct work centres as directedAssist with basic tasks such as labelling, kitting, and part movement under supervisionMaintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor and aislesSupport general shop needs as directed by the Shop LeadsRequirements:Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Excel) is a plusExperience with an ERP system is an asset but not requiredPrevious experience in a warehouse, material handling, or labour role is an asset but not requiredAttention to detail and willingness to follow procedures consistentlyAbility to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs, or use appropriate lifting aidsAble to work on your feet for extended periodsReliable, punctual, and a team playerWillingness to learn and take directionExperience with a forklift or pallet jack is a plus but not requiredWorking with usWe offer flexible hours, a 5-day work week, and a supportive work environment where you'll be part of a skilled team of manufacturing professionals.
