Reporting to the Director of Finance, you'll lead the day‐to‐day accounting function, oversee a talented accounting team, and play a critical role in delivering timely financial information that supports strategic business decisions.You thrive on bringing order to complexity, improving processes, and building strong financial foundations. Working closely with Property Management teams, you'll help ensure operational processes, tenant administration, and financial reporting remain accurate, compliant,



and efficient.Lead the month‐end and year‐end close process across multiple entitiesPrepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and working papersOversee general ledger integrity, intercompany accounting, and account analysisGuide and support the Accounting teamSupport the financial aspects of the tenant lifecycle, ensuring accurate records, receivables administration, documentation controls, and system integrityMaintain and improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and approval processes across departmentsMonitor tenant and vendor account activity, identifying issues and supporting timely resolutionManage HST filings, remittances, and regulatory complianceCoordinate year‐end audit preparation and external accountant requestsPartner with operational teams to support business objectives and drive continuous improvement initiativesWhat You Bring to the Table5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilitiesExperience managing full‐cycle accounting and month‐end close processesStrong knowledge of ASPE, financial reporting, and internal controlsAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial dataExperience supervising, coaching,
