The First Aid Instructor is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating Lifesaving Society Québec first aid training courses in accordance with provincial standards and certification requirements. The instructor provides a safe, engaging, and professional learning environment while ensuring participants develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to respond effectively in emergency situations.Main ResponsibilitiesInstruction and Course DeliveryTeach Lifesaving Society Québec first aid courses, including Emergency First Aid, Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications; Deliver course content following Lifesaving Society Québec standards, policies, and instructional guidelines; Demonstrate first aid, CPR, and emergency response techniques accurately and effectively; Facilitate boththeoretical and practical learning activities; Adapt teaching methods to accommodate participants of different ages, abilities,



and learning styles.Participant EvaluationAssess participant performance according to certification requirements; Provide constructive feedback to support skill development; Maintain accurate attendance records and evaluation documentation; Recommend successful candidates for certification.Required QualificationsCurrent Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification; Current CPR Instructor certification (where applicable); Minimum 18 years of age; Strong communication and presentation skills; Ability to workindependently and as part of a team; Solid organizational and record-keeping abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience teaching first aid, aquatics, recreation, or health and safety programs; Experience working with children, youth, and adults in educational settings;
