DescriptionThompson Construction Group has current openings for experienced Rigid Frame Haul Truck Operators supporting operations in the Fort McMurray area. This role involves the safe and productive hauling of material within active construction and mining worksites while maintaining high standards of safety, communication, and equipment care.ResponsibilitiesSafely haul and dump material to designated locations within the worksiteOperate haul trucks in a smooth, controlled, and efficient mannerPerform pre-operational and routine equipment inspections, including tires, fluids, lights, and brakesReport equipment defects or maintenance concerns promptlyCommunicate effectively with supervisors, and other operators using two-way radioMaintain awareness of surrounding equipment, personnel, and site conditionsFollow all site-specific rules, project requirements, and company policiesParticipate in Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA) as requiredSupport site operations as needed and perform other related duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience operating rigid frame haul trucks (CAT 777, 785, 789 or 793)
