Make a difference as a Youth Care System Navigator at The Link, supporting youth aged 12-25 facing significant barriers. Advocate for their well-being and facilitate access to resources.In this full time position, you will be part of the System Navigation Team, working closely with at-risk youths to create meaningful connections to essential services. Adopting a trauma-informed and culturally aware approach, you will help empower youths to take control of their futures and address their needs through strong relationships and resource navigation.Key Responsibilities:Engage with youth in the drop-in settingDevelop trusting relationships promoting youth controlFacilitate connections to both formal and informal supportsOrganize and lead life skills and recreational workshopsKeep updated on relevant youth service systemsRequirements:Minimum 2 years of post-secondary education in youth careSupervisory experience is advantageousStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience with crisis intervention and de-escalationKnowledge of youth systems including EIA and mental healthEmpower vulnerable youth to access critical support and services through your dedicated work at The Link.
