Well Prepared.The OpportunityNu Edge Construction Ltd. is currently seeking a motivated Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Camrose, Alberta.This is an excellent opportunity for a registered apprentice looking to develop their skills while working alongside experienced Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technicians in a busy heavy civil construction environment.The successful candidate will assist with the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a diverse fleet of heavy construction equipment, trucks, and support equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy construction equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicingAssist Journeyman Technicians with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain repairsTroubleshoot equipment issues and help identify required repairsComplete oil changes, filter changes, lubrication, inspections, and general servicingAssist with repairs both in the shop and, when required, in the fieldMaintain accurate service and repair documentationKeep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organizedIdentify potential equipment concerns before they result in major failuresFollow Nu Edge safety policies, procedures, and secure work practicesWork collaboratively with operators, supervisors, mechanics, parts personnel,
