Technology Portfolio ManagerTechnology Portfolio Manager responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of projects and initiatives for specific groups within TMX Group.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Ownership & Execution End-to-End Accountability: Own the delivery outcome of assigned initiatives from ideation/intake through execution, transition and final close‑out.Integrated Planning: Develop and maintain integrated initiative roadmap and master schedule, identifying all cross‑project and cross‑team dependencies.Risk and Impediment Management: Proactively identify, prioritise and manage critical risks, issues and systemic impediments that threaten overall initiative timeline or quality, escalating to the executive level as necessary.Scope & Change Control: Partner with GTS SLT to manage scope, define guardrails and implement an efficient change management process to control scope creep.Stakeholder Management & Communication: Provide timely, transparent and concise status reporting to executive sponsors and governance bodies, focusing on progress against outcomes, key risks and resource utilisation.Cross‑Functional Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between multiple execution teams to ensure alignment, resolve hand‑off issues and maintain a consistent delivery rhythm.Expectation Alignment: Manage expectations of all internal and external stakeholders regarding timelines, scope, quality and resource availability.Governance & Process Improvement: Resource management, financial tracking, process adherence,



continuous improvement; lead retrospectives andpost‑mortem reviews at initiative level.Project Management Plan: Define scope, determine resources, create integrated plan, develop detailed schedule, review and revise with stakeholders, execute according to plan, monitor budget, scope and timelines, ensure documentation, monitor progress and adjust course, provide regular status and steering committee reporting.Required Qualifications & SkillsAcademic Foundation: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.Qualified Tenure: 7+ years progressive experience in Project, Program or Delivery Management within complex, technical Digital/IT environments.Execution Excellence: Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering multi‑year, multi‑team projects in excess of $2M from concept to completion.SaaS Implementation Expertise: Direct experience managing SaaS‑based initiatives, including major platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce or the Google ecosystem.Professional Credential: Mandatory PMP certification.Strategic Navigation: Ability to navigate and drive delivery excellence within complex, ambiguous, matrixed environments.Methodological Expertise: Strong background in executing initiatives across SDLC,



Iterative and Agile delivery frameworks.Inspirational Leadership: Capacity to motivate, lead and effectively manage diverse cross‑functional teams.Stakeholder & Conflict Management: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.Executive‑Level Communication: Ability to distil technical delivery complexities into clear, concise actionable intelligence for senior leadership.Risk & Dependency Mapping: Highly proficient in identifying, visualising and proactively managing critical dependencies and risks across dozens of workstreams and teams.Tool Proficiency: Advanced expertise in enterprise project management toolsets (SmartSheets, Google Suite, Jira) for sophisticated tracking and reporting.Nice‑to‑have: Prior experience working with regulators and external clients; Agile/Scrum certifications highly desirable.Salary Range: CAD 120,000/year – 140,000/year (actual offer may vary).Recruiting efforts are intended to fill a vacant position.
