Certification in other related fields + experience in shop and on the road may be considered. Shift may rotate and include days/evenings/weekends/modified work week.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain equipment with a strong commitment to customer support and quality workmanshipUse diagnostic tools, software, and technology to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and complete complex repairsPerform preventative maintenance and scheduled service according to manufacturer specificationsComplete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining clear service documentationMaintain current knowledge of John Deere agriculture products and other equipment supported by the dealershipParticipate in manufacturer, dealer-led,



and technical training programs to further develop skills and technical capabilitiesWork closely with Service, Parts, and other technicians to support customers and complete work effectivelyRequirements3+ years’ experience performing agricultural equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, powersports, construction, or related complex mechanical repairsStrong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and powertrain componentsAbility to use diagnostic software, electronic service tools, and basic computer functionsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and contribute within a team environmentCommitment to professional development and ongoing technical trainingExperience with John Deere and competitive products is a definite assetCandidates ideally will possess a Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification or equivalent in a mechanical field (i.E.
