Our collaborative team environment foster professional growth and values work-life balance.Position Summary:Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing Notice to Reader (NTR) financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns, and assisting with tax planning and compliance and assurance engagements.



This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–4 years of experience in public accounting who is looking to develop deeper technical expertise in tax and assurance services.Key Responsibilities:Prepare audit and review engagementsPrepare NTR (Compilation) financial statements for owner-managed businesses across various industriesPrepare corporate tax returns (T2), personal tax returns (T1), and trust returns (T3)Assist in preparing and reviewing HST filings and other government remittancesConduct tax research and support tax planning engagementsMaintain and update working paper files using CaseWare and TaxCycleLiaise with clients to gather information, respond to inquiries, and deliver exceptional serviceIdentify issues and propose solutions with guidance from senior staff or partnersAssist with year-end engagements and special projects as neededQualifications:Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA designation or working toward CPA designation (preferred)2–4 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on NTR and tax preparationProficiency in accounting software such as CaseWare, TaxCycle, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhy Join?Supportive and collaborative team cultureOpportunities for professional development and growthCompetitive compensation packageWork-life balance and versatile work arrangements (hybrid available)Exposure to a wide range of industries and client types
