This is a 6‑month contract with the potential for extension or conversion.This role is ideal for someone early in their supply chain or purchasing career who is strong in Excel, comfortable working in a manufacturing workplace, and enjoys working cross‑functionally with vendors and internal teams.What you’ll be doingProcessing purchasing and procurement documentsTracking purchase orders and order confirmationsFollowing up on past-due items and expediting ordersSupporting sourcing and supply chain activitiesWorking closely with vendors and internal stakeholdersMaintaining accurate data within an ERP systemEnsuring compliance with safety, ethical, and ISO standardsWhat we’re looking for1–2 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or buyingStrong Excel skills (comfortable working with data and reports)Experience supporting administrative purchasing tasksExposure to ERP systems (JD Edwards is a plus)Background in a manufacturing environment (automotive or aerospace preferred)Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced teamRole details6‑month contract with possible extension or conversion3 days onsite per week in CambridgePay rate: approx. $20/hr
